IE6 – CSS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

What a pain in the… IE6 and it’s implementation of CSS just plain sucks! In most cases you can work around it. However, I was showing off my blog at work today, bragging about WordPress 2.7, the theme, plugins  etc. – not even thinking that we have not upgraded Internet Explorer beyound version 6.  (All sorts of reason I don’t want to get into). The point is my blog didn’t look so hot.

As a developer I should have at least checked it out.  I have software that I check my sites with.  IETester

I checked with the author of the Fusion (by digitalnature.ro) theme and it specifically stated that time permitting it could support IE6 (if enough users requested it) so… my bad

No slight on the theme’s author as it is still an exceptional job.  One of the best themes out there!

Update:  Version 1.3 of the Fusion theme now supports IE 5.5 and IE6…
